So it's ridiculously hot, so what better way to avoid the heat than head into the middle of the countryside, avoiding all air-con, and sleep in a tent for the night? Hmmm, that is the plan , but we're packing lots of ice (or is that heat) so we should be good. And after a brief scare involving fire bans and the thought of sitting around in the circle with no fire to look at, it turns out my geography of Colorado is poor enough that it doesn't affect us.
