Huge Salary!

When I say huge, I mean ginormous. The boss of Occidental made $400 million last year, which seems a little on the ridiculous side, even for the oil industry. The company tries to justify it based on shareholder return, but in reality, can one man be worth all of this? I mean, was he the only person in the world who could increase the share value of the company given what was happening with the industry as a whole anyway?

Personally, I'd love to make $400 million in a year, but somehow I don't think it's going to happen. And even if I did, I'd probably end up feeling way too guilty about it for the rest of my life...
