25 Pints and Driving - It Just Doesn't Mix

Somehow, I find the story of having 20 to 25 pints of lager in one night slightly unbelievable. I've been a few benders in my time, but I don't think I've ever managed to fit that much in. Anyway, this guy was obviously wasted, coz he told the police that when they were trying (unsuccessfully) to breathalize him. How he even managed to get in his car and start it remains a mystery, but I suppose the one saving grace was that he did pull off the road before the police even got there....
