Sandia Mexican Restaurant

Sandia Mexican Restaurant, originally uploaded by Aaron in Denver.

So I haven't ever done any restaurant reviews on this site (that I can remember anyway, apart from probably pimping Maxwells a lot before it closed), but we've been to Sandia a few times now, and it's been excellent.

It's part of the new build out at Park Meadows Mall - they've basically created a new outdoor dining/shopping/hangout place where the Lord and Taylor building used to be. There's a few different restaurants there, but this is the only we've tried so far.

Food wise, they have tacos and fajitas and burritos etc, and they do the make your guacamole at your table thing, which means the guac and chips are highly recommended. Drinks wise, they've got millions of different tequila's, along with the usual drinks, so sure it could easily be a place for a blinder. We've only done lunch there, so I haven't tried the Marg's yet, which thinking back is kinda strange. I guess one reason why that's the case is they have some pretty exciting lemonade action going on. It's kinda fizzy with a little sour taste in there as well, but tastes great in my opinion.

Anyway, if you're at Park Meadows and fancy a decent lunch or dinner, try this place out.
