I love Jesus but I drink a little
Well, not me, but the lady on this show from Austin, Texas. Ellen (in my humble and very non-expert opinion) is way better than Oprah, but as I'm male and spend the day in the office at work, I'm not their target audience I guess.
Anyway, the wife sent me this through this afternoon, and it actually made tears of laughter spring forth in a gushing motion. Or something. It's good.

Letterman - A True Classic
I always loved Letterman - he runs the late night talk show of choice in our house (although I do occasionally get a craving for The Word on drunken Friday nights). But last nights episode was a bit of a classic (if you live under a rock, John McCain decided he needed to fly back to Washington and bail on Letterman at the last minute).

Natalie Portman Raps
Two reasons for this post (apart from to keep all those Star Wars geeks happy - it's kinda funny, especially as I've never seen her do stuff like this, and to see what happens with my new Hulu beta testing thing when I embed a clip from their site (although I'm a big Apple fan, this site so far has me all excited)

Quote of the week
The BBC lists all the best sports quotes every week here. My favorite for this week was
"If it wasn't for the fact that they had more skill, guile, flair, pace, ability and commitment than us, we could genuinely have nicked something."
A Sunderland fan on 606 reflects on their 7-1 defeat at Everton

Current Best T-Shirt Ever
Not really suitable for front page publishing (and I never did actually read the article, but check on the guy with this t-shirt on - I nearly wet myself laughing when I first saw it.

Best Posh and Bex Interview Ever
Despite the fact that in my 10 years in the states I seem to have been home for an inordinate number of Comic Relief Nights, I somehow missed Ali G interview Posh and Bex. It's obviously from a while ago, but it had me laughing out loud - usual warnings apply (it was on UK National TV, so if you work in an American office that isn't populated by a load of foreigners, you probably need your headphones on).
And I know it's 10 minutes long, but trust me, it's worth it....

You Tube Catchup Time
One of the problems with not having any time to post during the week is that you end up with way too many vids to post directly on the site (not through laziness you understand, just I know how you all hate to scroll down too far..).
So, one post, and a few links so that if you're interested, you can click through and watch. Colbert gets the post, as I'm not sure I've ever posted him up here before, and just so I don't come across as a total Apple fan who doesn't recognize there may be the occasional flaw in some of their stuff (another 2 years with Cingular is probably going to make Kathy shiver in fear..).
Other vids
The iPhone close up, Bush's Legacy, Drunk Stewie, and lots of Craig Ferguson here, here, here, here and here.
Oh yeah, and this one I couldn't resist - 8 year old twins strutting their skateboarding stuff (they're even smaller than Wee Dod was in his video!)
